Remove unwanted stock iOS apps

Every iPhone comes with 30 apps out of the box such as the Safari browser, iBooks, FaceTime, iTunes Store and Podcasts to name a few. That is great unless you do not use them! These apps take up internal storage, clutter the home screen and unless you know this trick, there is no getting rid of them!

Fortunately, Apple has made it possible to turn off some of these apps with a setting called Restrictions. Now, unless you have poked around in every single setting of your iPhone like I have, the Restrictions setting can be hard to find. To access it follow these steps:

Open the Settings app;
=
Go to General;
Scroll down until you see Restrictions and tap on the option;
=
By default, it is turned off;
Tap 'Enable Restrictions';
=
Create a passcode and make sure to remember it because you will need to enter it every time you access Restrictions;
Next, turn off the apps you don’t want to see on your iPhone.
You are all set! 🙂
